I LOVE SPRING! OFTEN A VERY SHORT SEASON IN COLUMBIA ! ENJOY !

Once again thank-you to my collectors for making 2012 a great year! I had planned to do better posting to the blog! Life gets in the way..that is a good thing.

I am always so anxious to get back into my painting ! Mondays are great too for the

same reason..rested and ready to begin again!! I have a show in September @ ArtSource in Raleigh,NC.

Takes several months to prepare for a show. The earliest show will be a group show for Artista Vista in the Spring.

I am looking forward to trying out some new ideas ! That is not too hard when I am in the studio alot! I will

post new work soon. Keep in mind that I now have giclees of a few pieces and that is noted under the picture

if it is available as giclee.

I hope 2013 is a great year for everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great summer! I think of summer as a time to enjoy simple pleasures and act like a kid again. Take an hour out of your day and do something that will make you fill amazing! My grandchildren remind me that the world is full of treasures because they are still looking at everything for the first time.

 Enjoy the summer with your family and remember to have some fun…acting like a kid again.

The next thing you know you maybe feeling more creative….and that is always good

 for the soul.  Try  something you have always thought about doing

and put off until tomorrow..it may just be the answer to experiencing the  joy in life that

 you have been missing!  Expressing yourself relaxes your mind and restores your balance.

Try it! I know it works for me.

New paintings will continue to post as they are done! I love the long summer days..lots of daylight!!

I will  be a featured artist along with Susan Coldwell at Michael Mitchell Gallery in Charleston on Thursday April 19th with  Artist reception  5-8 .  Please come if you can! The art will be up for at least two weeks and Michael has my work all of the time. Next week April 26th I will have new work at Ellen Taylors on Gervais Street in the Vista for Artista Vista.

It is 54×54 and for sale at ELLEN TAYLOR INTERIORS on Gervais Street in the Vista.  Limited Edition S/N giclees  on gallery wrapped canvas (ready to hang ) are also available ,  38×38 for $1700.  If you are in the Columbia area it can be delivered to your home or place of business before Christmas! Order before December 12th!!!!! Other giclees are available as well! Art makes a wonderful Christmas gift!

City Adorned and City Jewels are now available as a giclee on canvas. Each

one is embellished and hand-signed by the artist.

 Please contact me if you would like to place an  order. It takes approximately two weeks

to deliver the giclee if I don’t have it printed.

I hope 2010 is a very healthy and prosperous New Year for each and everyone of you!! I look forward to being in the studio even more this year. I had the pleasure of caring for our first grandaughter until the end of last year so my studio time was interrupted constantly!! ha! She is such a gift. We are expecting a second grandchild (baby boy) in April , so life is busy and wonderful and I love the new role of grandparent although I cannot believe it is possible to be in this stage of my life!

Time spent in the studio is especially precious to me after being away for awhile . I am working on several new pieces and have a show planned in Raleigh for March . More details on that when everything is confirmed.

Pinckney Simmons has work from our November show so please keep that in mind when you visit Beaufort.

Many of you have ask about the recent show at I. Pinckney Simmons Gallery in Beaufort. My work will be there through November and they will continue to represent me so there will be paintings there on a regular basis. You can see the pieces they have at their gallery by visiting their website…just go to pinckneysimmonsgallery.com. 

You can also  see work in Columbia at Wink Studio beginning Thursday Nov. 19th for Vista Lights, and Ellen Taylor Interiors on Gervais Street (during the weekdays).
